You don't have to feel so overwhelmed, stressed, and frustrated with all you have going on in your life!
When your needs are met, you’re set up to THRIVE.
Your time, energy, and attention is valuable. You want to be investing in people and projects that help you thrive.
Knowing what you need helps you determine what are deal breakers and when and where to make an investment.
Needs are your basic requirements and non-negotiables. You’re not spending resources to survive.
Acknowledging when and where your needs are met can reduce your anxiety. Your nervous system is soothed and reactivity goes down. You gain clarity and can choose how you participate.
Without understanding your needs, you'll struggle to identify what is a dealbreaker and where to invest. I’m here to help you!
I teach about two types of needs:
Personal needs are the foundation of self-care and well-being.
Relational needs are the foundation for connection, collaboration, and belonging.
Please don’t do what I did!
I burned out as a CFO at 35. Looking back I see that one of the BIGGEST contributors to my burnout experience was relating to my needs like they didn’t exist. I waited to eat until I was so hungry I couldn’t focus. I didn’t go to the bathroom until it was urgent. I was always putting myself last. Believe me it’s a recipe for disaster.
It is possible to take care of your needs as they arise. It’s your key to long term success.
WELL-BEING + BELONGING = THRIVING
